Romance in a rainy day!
Today I was walking home and it was raining. And you know, when I see the rain, I always get in a romantic mood. So I started thinking about the (many)reasons why I’m single and I prefer eating chocolate and crying my eyes out while watching films like “The Notebook” or any sad, romantic and cheesy movie out there.
I can basically sum them up in three main points:
#1: Everyone around me is getting engaged, but not me. I can see that they’re happy(obviously), but they have to care a lot about each other, especially him(because you know, a girl that doesn’t receive enough attentions from his boyfriend, can become someone else’s girlfriend!). I’m not a selfish girl, but currently I don’t have much energy and time left for someone else that’s not me(haha this is so selfish!). What I’m trying to say, is that I’m always the one that cares a lot more than the other. So I started to care about myself and it feels so good!
#2: You start hanging out with him today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow… and you start forgetting about the world but basically you start loosing your freedom. And freedom is such an important thing to me! I don’t want to depend from another person, since I still depend from my family(ouch!). When in your relationship you’re forbidden to go out with your friends or simply go out, but he’s allowed to do whatever he wants, maybe there’s something going on behind(leave him).
#3: Looking always fine and cute isn’t that hard for us(choose the right clothes and make up and you’re ready to go), but some days you just want to wear a sweatshirt and don’t care about anything else. But when you do that with your boyfriend, he starts complaining because when you’re out with him you dress like that, but when you’re with your friends you dress like a superstar and he says that you’re taking him for granted. First of all, boys don’t have many problems to deal with(“You can rebuild your entire wardrobe with 16 items”), you know how difficult and stressful is it to pick the right clothes every day of our life?
So I came to the conclusion that it’s my fault if I’m single, but one day the right one will come(and maybe I won’t even notice him).

P.s. Today my mom wants me to go out and meet new people because my horoscope says that there are good chances to meet the love of my life. What do you think about horoscopes? Do you believe them?
Sometimes when I read these things I think:”are you kidding me??”. For a love lover this is way too much!
An eccentric, eclectic, electric girl, still waiting for her prince charming to arrive. I love animals(especially pandas), musicals(singing, dancing and acting are her passions)and cupcakes(who doesn’t like them?). I grew up thinking that one day I would have a limousine, a private-jet and a huge ranch in Texas with (at least) three horses of her own. I love basketball(The Bulls!).
